SS Pre-sheet Meeting

Today we had our pre-sheet meeting. All went really well.

Our SS is the manager of all the other SS and he has too many projects so in July he is handing it over to a new SS who we met today. He seems really nice and accommodating. SS Manager will still oversee the house but not daily he will just pop in when he is visiting other projects but he is in the area all the time as they have 20 houses on the go right now.
SS told us that we are scheduled in as follows.

• insulation tomorrow
• gyprock starts next Tuesday 7.6.11
• roller door and front door to be added and lock up should occur on Wednesday 15.6.11.
• tiling to be done next
• kitchen should be done in early July

That's as far as he advised but he told us that we should have hand over by early to mid September at the latest. His words. He also said that's the worst case scenario. Wonder if that means maybe earlier. So things are really moving along and we are very, very happy with Casaview to date.

It was really nice walking through and imagining the furnishings in place and seeing how the house sits up high and how the light filters through the windows in the morning. The space is going to be great for our family. Not too big and not too small. Just perfect. Can't wait to move. We really need to start organising some things soon. Retaining wall and fencing quotes are the start.
